The challenge
An 8.74-hectare site on the northern settlement edge of Exmouth, requiring careful integration of new homes with retained ecology, drainage and pedestrian links into the existing town.
Our approach
The outline masterplan delivers pedestrian connections, public open space, ecological retention and sustainable drainage — native hedgerow, scrub and tree planting, a wildflower meadow and SuDS ponds knit the development into its East Devon setting.
Outcome
The outline application is currently being determined — 130 homes with at least 25% affordable housing.
